Career

  • Aug 2023 - now: Postdoc (MHD), Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics (Garching, Germany)
    • MHD modelling of the nonlinear flux pumping dynamics in ASDEX Upgrade and JET with JOREK.
    • Compare numerical simulations with experimental observations for validation.
    • Explore the operation windows of flux pumping.
  • Jul 2022 - Aug 2023: Software engineer (GPGPU, CUDA, SYCL, ONEAPI), Intel (Shanghai, China)
    • Investigated low-level GPU pipelines using SYCL at the pre-silicon stage.
    • Developed several GPU workloads, performed performance analysis and accelerated the compute-intensive workloads.
    • Developed and optimized a C++ computer vision project for Intel and Nvidia GPUs using SYCL, CUDA, and hardware decoding/encoding.
